Wow… well said, my friend. And, unfortunately, well laced with strongly established truths. Society, at least in this country, too often seems well versed in talking the talk, but somewhat lacking in walking the walk. And life goes on.
As I ponder your conclusions, I keep being drawn back to the quote from H. L. Mencken.

“Every normal man must be tempted…”

Indeed. I’m certainly no exception, and agree that everyone must deal with temptation. I’m also hopeful, as I’m sure was Mencken, that we’ll be able to fend off those slitting urges.
One day at a time… right?

Thanks for sharing this, my friend! I had no idea that Tesla made cars – and nice looking cars at that! I hope that the manufacturing company that bears his name will fair far better than the genius whose name they carry.

The mind is a powerful, beautiful thing; then mix in strong, sincere emotions, and for lack of better wording, a completely disfunctional support system…that scenerio could reak havic on ANY sane person. I don’t think he was psychotic. I feel bad that he experienced more disappointment than kindness in his life. So sad…
